Roblox bundle prices in Switzerland
Roblox sells Robux in six fixed bundles, not by the unit, so you cannot buy exactly 1,000 Robux. The price per Robux falls as the bundle grows.
| Bundle | Price | Per Robux |
|---|---|---|
| 80 R$ | CHF 1.05 | CHF 0.0131 |
| 400 R$ | CHF 5.25 | CHF 0.0131 |
| 800 R$ | CHF 10.50 | CHF 0.0131 |
| 1,700 R$ | CHF 20.95 | CHF 0.0123 |
| 4,500 R$ | CHF 52.45 | CHF 0.0117 |
| 10,000 R$ | CHF 104.90 | CHF 0.0105 |
The 10,000 bundle costs CHF 104.90 instead of CHF 131.00. That is CHF 26.10 less for the same Robux, a 20 percent saving against the standard rate. It matters more in Switzerland than anywhere, because the starting price is the highest in the world. Buying inside the Roblox mobile app costs more again, because Apple and Google take a 30 percent commission that Roblox passes on.
Why Switzerland pays the most in the world
Switzerland is priced separately from the eurozone because it does not use the euro, and the gap is larger than the numbers first suggest. Roblox charges CHF 5.25 for 400 Robux against €4.99 just across the border. Those look close, but the franc is worth more than the euro, so Swiss players hand over more value for the same Robux.
| Country | Local price | In US dollars |
|---|---|---|
| Switzerland | CHF 13.10 | $16.38 |
| South Africa | R260.00 | $14.29 |
| United Kingdom | £11.20 | $14.18 |
| Eurozone | €12.50 | $13.59 |
| Brazil | R$68,80 | $12.74 |
| United States | $12.50 | $12.50 |
| Australia | $18.70 | $12.30 |
| Canada | $16.20 | $11.73 |
| Japan | ¥1,525 | $10.17 |
Swiss players pay about 21 percent more than the eurozone, 31 percent more than the United States and 61 percent more than Japan for identical Robux. That is the widest gap between any two Roblox markets covered here.
There is no way around it. Roblox charges by the region registered on your account, so living near a border does not help. The one thing that does help is buying the 10,000 bundle rather than repeated small ones, which claws back 20 percent.
These local prices are fixed. CHF 5.25 for 400 Robux stays at that price whatever the exchange rate does, which is why a converter that applies a live rate to the US price will never match your receipt.
What earned Robux are worth in francs
Buying Robux and cashing out Robux use two completely different rates. The Developer Exchange program pays $0.0038 US dollars per earned Robux, which is roughly CHF 0.0030. That is about 23 percent of what the same Robux cost to buy, the worst ratio of any currency on this site, because Swiss buy prices are the highest while DevEx pays everyone the same US rate.
What you need before you can cash out
You need a minimum of 30,000 earned Robux, worth about CHF 91.20. You also need to be at least 13 years old, have a verified email address, hold an active Roblox Premium subscription and pass DevEx portal verification. Only Robux earned through creator activity such as game passes, developer products and in-experience sales qualify.
DevEx sends US dollars, so the franc amount that reaches you depends on the rate your bank applies on the day. The franc is one of the steadier currencies against the dollar, so this varies less for Swiss creators than for most.
Robux to francs questions
How much is 1000 Robux in Swiss francs?
1,000 Robux cost about CHF 13.10 on the Roblox web store. Roblox does not sell exactly 1,000 Robux, so the closest bundle is 1,700 Robux for CHF 20.95. If you earned those 1,000 Robux and cash them out through DevEx, they are worth about CHF 3.04.
How many Robux is 1 Swiss franc?
One franc buys about 76 Robux on the Roblox web store. With a Roblox Premium subscription the same franc buys about 84 Robux, because Premium members receive a 10 percent bonus on Robux purchases.
Why do Swiss players pay more than the eurozone?
Switzerland is priced separately from the eurozone because it does not use the euro. Roblox charges CHF 5.25 for 400 Robux against €4.99 next door, and the franc is worth more than the euro, so the gap is bigger than it looks. In US dollar terms Swiss players pay about $16.38 against $13.59 in the eurozone, roughly 21 percent more.
Is Switzerland the most expensive country for Robux?
Of the markets covered on this site, yes. 1,000 Robux cost about $16.38 US dollars in Switzerland, ahead of South Africa at $14.29 and the United Kingdom at $14.18. Japan is the cheapest at $10.17, so Swiss players pay about 61 percent more than Japanese players for identical Robux.
How much is 10000 Robux in CHF?
The 10,000 Robux bundle costs CHF 104.90 on the Roblox web store, which works out to about CHF 0.0105 per Robux and is the best value Roblox offers in Switzerland. At the standard rate the same 10,000 Robux would cost CHF 131.00, so the bundle saves about CHF 26.
Does the Robux price change with the franc exchange rate?
No. Roblox sets a fixed franc price for each bundle and it does not move when the franc moves against the US dollar. The 400 Robux bundle stays at CHF 5.25 whatever currency markets do. Converters that apply a live exchange rate to the US price give the wrong answer.
Can you convert Robux back into Swiss francs?
Only Robux you earned as a creator can be turned back into money, through the Developer Exchange program. You need at least 30,000 earned Robux, worth about CHF 91, plus a verified email address and an active Roblox Premium subscription. Robux you bought can never be cashed out.
